GM 88-00 K1500 Rear 14in Big Brake Kit - 6-Lug

Complete your K1500's big brake upgrade with this 14 inch rear kit, purpose-built for 1988-2000 full-size Chevy and GMC trucks and SUVs. It uses 4-piston calipers, LSMFG machined aluminum hats, and radial mount brackets that bolt directly to your factory axle with zero modification required. Rear calipers share the same body and appearance as the fronts, but use a smaller bore size to keep your front-to-rear brake bias exactly where it needs to be.

Every rear big brake kit includes an internal drum-style parking brake, so you keep full functional parking brake capability, unlike some rear disc conversions that force you to give it up. Big brake kits now include LSMFG drilled and slotted rotors at no additional charge, giving you better heat dissipation and a more aggressive stance right out of the box.

Start by selecting your model: 88-98 truck or 88-00 2-door SUV, or 88-00 4-door SUV, since axle width and bracket geometry differ slightly between these platforms. From there, choose your caliper: standard MFG calipers in black or red, a custom powdercoat color to match your Chevy or GMC's paint (allow 4-5 weeks, enter your OEM paint code in the order comments, no tri-coat or kandy finishes), or substitute Wilwood calipers in black or red for a proven aftermarket performance option (allow 2-4 weeks for Wilwood availability).

Wheel size requirement: fits inside most 18 inch wheels.
