GM 88-00 K1500 Front 14in Big Brake Kit - 6-Lug

Take your Chevy or GMC K1500's front stopping power to a completely different level with this 14 inch big brake kit. Built for 1988-2000 full-size 4wd GM trucks and SUVs, this kit uses either 4-piston MFG calipers or 6-piston Wilwood calipers, paired with LSMFG machined aluminum hats and radial mount brackets that bolt directly to your factory spindle. No spindle swap, no custom brackets, no drama.

This is the same big brake architecture that transformed Chevy and GMC C1500 trucks, now engineered specifically for the K1500's 4wd front spindle geometry. If you're running larger wheels and tires, added weight from a winch bumper, or you're simply tired of your front end diving under hard braking, this kit gives you the pad area and leverage to shut things down fast and confidently.

Big brake kits now include LSMFG drilled and slotted rotors at no additional charge. From there, choose your caliper setup: standard MFG calipers in black or red at no upcharge, MFG calipers in a custom powdercoat color to match your build (allow 4-5 weeks, enter your OEM paint code in the order comments, no tri-coat or kandy finishes), or substitute Wilwood calipers in black or red for the ultimate in proven aftermarket performance (allow 2-4 weeks for Wilwood availability).

Fitment note: designed to fit trucks with the stock 1.25 inch thick front rotors. If you have an early 1988-1991 single cab truck with the factory 1.0 inch front rotor, you can swap over using hubs from a 1992-and-up K1500 (heavy duty suspension), such as TIMKEN 515001, available at most parts stores.

Wheel size requirement: this kit fits inside most 18 inch wheels, so double check your wheel's inner barrel clearance before ordering if you're running anything smaller.
