Wilwood Adjustable Proportioning Valve

Dial in the perfect front-to-rear brake balance on your Chevy or GMC brake build with this Wilwood adjustable proportioning valve, PN 260-10922. Whether you've just installed one of our rear disc conversion kits, a big brake kit, or you're fine-tuning a custom brake system, this valve gives you the ability to reduce rear line pressure so the rear wheels don't lock up before the fronts under hard braking.

This valve features a knob-style adjuster with a single inlet and outlet, both using 3/8-24 inverted flare female threads to adapt directly to double-flared hard brake lines. It's rated for 100 to 1,000 psi and provides up to a 57 percent pressure reduction at full adjustment, giving you a wide working range to match your Chevy or GMC's exact brake bias needs. The body is machined aluminum with a clean clear anodized finish, and it's sold individually.

Installation is straightforward: mount the valve using the two 0.25 inch body holes provided (do not attempt to remove the adjuster knob or valve body end cap for thru-panel mounting), connect the inlet port to the pressure line coming from your master cylinder, and connect the outlet port to the line heading to your rear calipers. Rotating the knob counter-clockwise (all the way out) delivers maximum pressure reduction, while rotating clockwise incrementally restores full line pressure.

Please note: this proportioning valve is designed for tuning custom, performance, and race-oriented brake systems, and will require brake line work to install. It is not a direct replacement for any factory proportioning valve, and should only be installed by someone comfortable working with brake hydraulics. After installation, always bleed the system fully, check for leaks, confirm proper pedal feel and travel, and test at low speeds before gradually working up to normal driving speeds.
