Drop your truck and your factory shocks run out of travel before your suspension does - that's where these shock extenders come in. Designed for 1988-1999 Chevy/GMC C1500, C2500, and C3500 trucks running a lowering kit, these extenders reposition your shock mounting point so your factory or aftermarket shocks operate in their proper travel range at ride height instead of topping out or binding.

Without correct shock geometry after a drop, you'll get a harsh, clunky ride, premature shock wear, and in worse cases actual shock damage from being over-extended or over-compressed every time you hit a dip. These extenders solve that cleanly - they bolt to factory mounting locations, no cutting or drilling required, and get your shocks working the way the engineer intended even after you've dropped the truck several inches.

Built from heavy-duty steel with a durable finish to handle road grime, weather, and the twisting loads a solid axle truck puts on its suspension hardware, these are a set-it-and-forget-it part. If you've already got a drop kit installed and you're noticing a harsher ride than expected, or your shocks are getting chewed up faster than they should, mismatched shock geometry is almost always the culprit - and this is the fix.

These are compatible across the C1500, C2500, and C3500 OBS platform since the shock mounting architecture is shared across the lineup, so whether you're running a half-ton or a 3/4-1 ton heavy hauler, these extenders will correct your geometry. Pair with any of our drop kits, axle flip kits, or standalone spindle/spring combos for a properly sorted ride.

Installation is straightforward with basic hand tools in under an hour per side. As always, we recommend a front-end alignment after any suspension work to keep tire wear even and handling predictable.
