Ridetech Rear Coil Overs - 1988-1998 Chevy/GMC C1500

These HQ Series rear coilovers are the springing and damping half of Ridetech's rear suspension equation, designed specifically to pair with the Bolt-On Wishbone system to give your OBS truck a rear end that rides and handles like nothing GM ever offered from the factory.

Once your wishbone is handling the job of precisely locating the rearend, these coilovers take over the springing and damping duties with rebound-adjustable shocks that let you dial in ride quality from plush cruiser to firm handling setup. Ridetech pairs each shock with a matched Hyperco coil spring, spring mount, delrin spring washers, and bearing spacers - every component needed for a clean, correct installation is included, not left for you to source separately.

The beauty of running a true coilover setup in the rear instead of leaf springs is the total elimination of spring wrap-up and the inconsistent spring rate that comes with a multi-leaf pack. You get a consistent, predictable spring rate through the entire range of travel, combined with genuinely adjustable damping that a leaf spring simply cannot offer no matter how many leaves you add or remove.

Important: this product requires Ridetech's Bolt-On Wishbone Rear Suspension System for proper installation - the coilovers mount directly to the wishbone's designed mounting points, and this is not a standalone leaf spring replacement.
