Ridetech's 2" drop spindle is the simplest, cleanest way to get a front-end drop without touching your ride quality or blowing your alignment geometry out of whack. Unlike cutting coils or flipping torsion keys, a proper drop spindle relocates the steering arm and ball joint mounting points so your suspension geometry stays correct at the new, lower ride height.

This matters more than people realize - a lot of the cheap ways to drop a front end (cranking torsion bars down, cutting coils) throw your camber and caster out of spec and leave you with a truck that eats tires and wanders down the highway. A drop spindle keeps your factory control arm geometry intact while simply relocating where the spindle sits relative to the arms, giving you a drop that handles as good as stock, if not better.

Ridetech offers this spindle to match either your Heavy Duty factory brakes (1.25" thick rotors) or Light Duty brakes (1.00" thick rotors) - make sure you know which brake package your truck came with before ordering, since the spindle is machined specifically to match your factory rotor thickness and caliper mounting.

Built from quality materials and precision-machined to Ridetech's tolerances, these spindles are a straightforward bolt-in replacement for your factory spindle, using your factory ball joints, tie rod ends, and hub assembly. Any front-end shop can knock this out in a day, and the ride quality improvement combined with the aggressive stance makes this one of the best dollar-for-dollar upgrades you can make to an OBS front end.

Fits: Chevrolet C1500 1988-1998.

Ridetech Part #: 11379300 (Heavy Duty) / 11379301 (Light Duty)

Important: Confirm your factory brake package (rotor thickness) before ordering - Heavy Duty and Light Duty spindles are not interchangeable.

Pair this with our lowering shocks and tie rod adjusters for a front end that's dropped right and handles even better than stock.
