Remanufactured steering gear box built by Red-Head Steering Gears (Auburn, WA) to OEM specifications, backed by a full 12-month/unlimited-mileage warranty. Fits 1997-2000 GM Pickup Trucks (1500), Cadillac Escalade, Suburban's, Tahoe's or Yukon's.

This is the standard-duty (1500-class/SUV) application. If you have a 2500 or 3500 pickup or a heavier Suburban, see our 2864L-LM-3T. This Steering Gear Box is also available in a 2.5 Quick Turn option (2864SQW-LM) for a more responsive steering wheel — not recommended for off-roading or larger-than-stock tires. A 4-Turn ratio (better for off-roading or larger-than-stock tires) is available under SKU 2864S-LM-4T.
