Remanufactured steering gear box built by Red-Head Steering Gears (Auburn, WA) to OEM specifications, backed by a full 12-month/unlimited-mileage warranty. Fits 1997-2000 GM Pickup Trucks (1500), Suburban's, Tahoe's or Yukon's.

This is the standard-duty (1500-class/SUV) application, 4-Turn ratio — recommended for off-roading or vehicles running tires 37" or larger, giving more leverage when steering. If you have a 2500 or 3500 pickup or a heavier Suburban, see our 2864L-LM-4T. If you want the 12.7:1 quick-turn ratio instead, order the 2864-S-QW-LM. The standard 3-Turn ratio of this gear is available under SKU 2864S-LM-3T.
