Rear Disc Brake Conversion Kit - 5-Lug, 11in Drum | 1988-2000 Chevy/GMC C1500

The heavy-duty counterpart to our 10" drum kit — this bolt-on rear disc conversion is built for 1988-1999 Chevy/GMC C1500 pickups and 1992-2000 C1500-based SUVs and vans running 5-lug rear ends with the heavier-duty 11" drum axle.

Just like our light-duty kit, installation requires no welding and no pulling of axle shafts — everything bolts to your existing housing. All serviceable parts are also available individually down the road.

Before you order: even if your model is listed above, confirm you actually have the 11" drum (not the light-duty 10" drum) by measuring the axle flange at the back side of the drum. Need the light-duty version instead? See our 10" Drum Axle kit.

Will fit inside most (but not all) 15" wheels — light sanding of the caliper contact point usually clears tight spots.
