Plug and Play: This 3rd brake light is plug and play. Some customers report their plugs were different from the factory plug so they had to be cut off and spliced. Wiring tips: Truck Red to light's white, Truck yellow to light's red, Truck black to light's black and yellow (some customers may have to cut the yellow wire from the light plug), Truck white was not used.

Waterproof: This 3rd brake light includes 1pc rubber gasket and is generally waterproof. Please put silicone on the back of it to help seal it just in case it leaks into the light or where the wires are.

Tips and Warranty: About the staying-on problem, cut the yellow wire from the light plug to eliminate it from staying on. 1 Year Warranty included.
