GM 88-00 K1500 Front 16in Big Brake Kit - 6-Lug

For the Chevy or GMC K1500 owner who wants the biggest, most serious brake upgrade we offer, this 16 inch front big brake kit delivers. Built around Wilwood 6-piston TC6 calipers or machined MFG 6-piston calipers, machined aluminum hats, and machined 6061 aluminum brackets that bolt directly to your factory spindle, this kit is designed and machined entirely in-house and uses genuine Wilwood calipers, pads, and rotors.

If you're running a large lifted GMC or Chevy K1500 on 20 inch (or bigger) wheels, towing heavy loads, or just want the biggest rotors that will physically fit under your truck, this is the kit. The massive rotor diameter and 6-piston clamping force give you a huge margin of stopping power and fade resistance over stock, or even over our 14 inch kit.

Choose your caliper finish: standard MFG calipers in black or red at no upcharge, a custom MFG powdercoat color to match your build (allow 4-5 weeks, enter your OEM paint code in the order comments, no tri-coat or kandy finishes), or substitute genuine Wilwood calipers in black or red (allow 2-4 weeks for Wilwood availability).

Fitment note: this kit fits spindles with the factory 1.25 inch rotor width. Non-heavy-duty spindles from 1988-1991 standard cab trucks with a 1.0 inch rotor width must be swapped to 1988-1991 extended cab spindles, or any spindle from 1992-2000.

Wheel size requirement: this kit fits inside most 20 inch wheels, so verify your wheel's inner barrel clearance before ordering.
