GM 14 Bolt Rear Disc Brake Conversion Kit - 8-Lug

The 14 bolt rear axle is one of the toughest rear ends GM ever bolted under a Chevy or GMC, but it's also come in more variations than almost any other axle in the OBS lineup. This conversion kit brings real disc brake stopping power to your 14 bolt rear end, whether you're running a C2500/C3500 single rear wheel truck or a dually. Installation requires no welding, and all serviceable parts are also available individually.

Because the 14 bolt axle has been produced in so many different configurations over the years, correctly identifying your exact axle style before ordering is critical. Options include single rear wheel semi-float axles in either 3.6 inch or 5.1 inch offset, single rear wheel full-float axles with either a slip-on or press-on drum, and dual rear wheel setups for either 17 inch and larger wheels or factory 16 inch dually wheels. Start with smooth rotors for a clean factory-style appearance, or step up to drilled and slotted rotors for improved heat dissipation. On the caliper side, keep things simple and cost-effective with our standard non-parking-brake calipers, or go full performance with genuine Wilwood calipers in black or red (note: Wilwood calipers do not retain parking brake function, so if you need to keep a functional parking brake, stick with the standard caliper option).

Before ordering, verify your flange dimensions (required for all axle styles) and your axle offset (semi-float axles only) using the reference diagrams in the full product description. This kit will fit inside many, but not all, 16 inch wheels when optioned correctly - if the caliper contacts the inside of your wheel, clearance can typically be gained with light sanding of the caliper's contact points.
