Belltech Rear Drop Kit - 1988-1996 Chevy/GMC C3500 Silverado 2WD

This Belltech Shackle & Hanger Kit (Belltech P/N 6905) gives 1988-1996 Chevy/GMC C3500 2WD trucks a clean -4" rear drop by repositioning the leaf spring mounting points - not by swapping in different springs. Belltech's redesigned shackles and hangers relocate the front and/or rear spring eyes, so you keep your factory leaf springs exactly as they are, which means you retain OEM ride quality and your truck's original load-carrying capacity.

Kit includes: -4" leaf spring hangers, leaf spring shackles, mounting hardware, and bumpstops.

This is a strong option if you want a real rear drop - more than you'd get from shackles alone on a factory-arched spring, but without stepping up to a full leaf-spring swap or axle flip kit. 2WD trucks only.

Installation involves supporting the axle, removing the factory shackles and hangers, installing the new units, and re-torquing everything to spec - a moderate DIY job most people can finish in a few hours with basic hand tools and a floor jack/jack stands.

After install, check driveshaft/pinion angle and brake line length at your new ride height. Pair with our DS-2 rear shocks and shock extenders for shocks matched to this drop range.
