Belltech Front 3" Dropped Spindles - 1989-2000 Chevy/GMC C3500 Silverado

The C3500 version of our Belltech 3-inch front drop spindle, engineered for the heaviest-duty OBS truck's front end geometry and factory brake package. Built for 1989-2000 C3500 Silverado trucks, this spindle delivers a substantial front drop while keeping steering geometry, ball joint angles, and bump steer within a range a proper alignment can correct.

C3500 trucks often run the largest factory front brake packages in the OBS lineup given their higher GVWR, and Belltech engineers this spindle to maintain compatibility with those factory components rather than forcing a compromise. At a 3-inch drop, spindle-based lowering is the smarter engineering choice over an aggressively compressed spring, since it relocates the actual knuckle geometry instead of just letting ride height sag lower on an over-stressed spring.

Installation involves removing the factory spindle and knuckle assembly and transferring your hub, brake, and steering components onto the new Belltech spindle - a moderate-to-involved front suspension job best handled by someone experienced with steering and brake work, or a qualified shop, given the safety-critical nature of these components.

This drop amount pairs well with a matching rear drop kit for a balanced, aggressive stance appropriate for the heaviest OBS platform, and works correctly with shocks valved for this ride height. Given the C3500's higher curb weight, using a spindle engineered specifically for this platform - rather than a lighter-duty spindle - matters for both fitment and long-term durability.

A full front-end alignment is required after install, and we recommend inspecting brake line length and tie rod angle once the truck settles at its new ride height.
