Front drop is achieved through Belltech's spindle-based approach, maintaining correct steering geometry rather than relying on an over-compressed spring, while the rear uses de-arched leaf springs rated for the C3500's heavier spring pack to deliver a clean 4-inch drop without axle wrap or pinion angle issues. Because this kit is engineered specifically for the C3500 platform, spring rates and spindle geometry account for this truck's higher curb weight and payload rating versus a lighter C2500 or C1500.

This drop range is achievable in most configurations without a rear frame C-notch (always verify clearance with your specific tire size), keeping labor and complexity more reasonable than our deeper 5-8 inch kits while still delivering a noticeably aggressive stance appropriate for the biggest OBS pickup GM built.
