3-Link W/Coil Over Mounts - 1988-1998 Chevy/GMC C1500

For builders chasing serious rear suspension travel and articulation on a truly custom lay-frame or off-road-flavored OBS build, this 3-Link kit with coilover mounts replaces the entire leaf spring rear suspension with a purpose-built linkage system that eliminates bind and maximizes wheel clearance.

This kit uses heat-treated, nylon-inserted heim joints throughout for an ultra-flexible suspension setup with zero binding through the full range of travel - a critical detail for any truck running serious air travel or a build that needs the rear axle to move through a wide arc without fighting the suspension geometry. The lower links are specifically designed to bolt into your factory front leaf spring hangers and tuck under the frame for maximum wheel and tire clearance, which matters just as much for a slammed show truck as it does for a truck built to flex on the trail.

Everything is made in America using DOM tubing and 3/16" P&O plate - this isn't thin-wall tubing that's going to flex or fatigue under real use. The kit ships in raw finish, ready for your builder to weld in and finish to match your build's specifications (paint, powdercoat, or leave it raw for a hot-rod aesthetic).

The kit includes everything needed for the conversion: one upper wishbone, two lower links, one upper coilover crossmember with two mounts, two axle brackets with adjustable coilover mounts, one front wishbone mount, two axle-side lower link brackets, three Teflon-lined heim joints, four urethane rod ends and sleeves, and Grade 8 mounting hardware throughout.

This is a full weld-in fabrication project, not a bolt-on kit - budget for a builder who's comfortable with chassis fabrication and understands 3-link geometry, since getting the link lengths and mounting points wrong will cause bind and premature wear.
